Possible switch to synthetic

I currently run Rotella dino, but I am considering changing to synthetic Rotella or even one of the other brands. My question is, anything special that I should do to switch.....should I be concerned about small amounts of dino oil left in the crankcase?

Current oils, whether dino or syn, are all compatible with one another.... And, all have a similar effect on oil seals, so you shouldn't be concerned about switching or about any residual "other" oil left over in the engine.
