I recently picked up an 85 K3500 Crew Cab with a 6.2 diesel. It's a factory AC truck, however, the AC compressor was removed in the past. Since I will be bringing this truck to AZ, I really need to get the AC working and am looking for a set of brackets for the AC Compressor. I'm not sure if this truck had the A6 or the newer style compressor but if either will work, I'm open.

You might check an online junkyard like car-part.com or ebay to find the brackets.
Serp belt or v belt?
Can you post a picture of the engine bay?
I have an engine out of a 1984 van that has the AC system. I will never use it, if the brackets will work for you then we should PM.
Sorry for the delay, I didn't get a notification of the replies. Mine is a V belt setup. I'm guessing your 84 has the A6 compressor. If you still have the brackets I might be interested.
