Ltrainracing,
Some have posted that 235's will work without spacers, other's have reported rubbing (or very close) with 235's when loaded- so you may need spacers for tires wider than the stock 215's. Here are a few links to previous posts dealing with this issue:

Try a search in this forum or the Accessories forum using 'wheel spacer' - without the ' ' - I came up with 17 topics in the 2500HD/3500 HD Trucks & Drivetrain forum.
i've run 235's since new on my 2001 dump truck at 80 psi
no need for spacers even with truck weighing 19k+

I've heard several people go with the 235's w/out rubbing. That will be my next tire size, and I haul a lot.

Texas Red Wagon:
Are you running spacers? If so, what size?
Anybody know if dually rims from prior years ('73-'87) are interchangeable? I've got one I'd like to use for spare. Haven't gotten around to measuring it yet.
No spacers

Dr Crane,
They will not fit. They won't clear the new rear disc brakes of this truck (so I've been told) and the hubcentric is a different size.
I'm running BFG 235/85R16 Mud Terrain T/As on mine. I have about 3/4" clearance between the duals. The worst part about the Mud Terrains is they pick up and sling some pretty good size rocks. Other than that it has only been stuck once and that was when my 14 son was trying to get down to his deer stand after a 2" rain! Sunk it to the frame.
