According to Aaron Stewart at Edge they have a box that works. Not sure if the old box didn't need re-working or if they already made a new one.

I thought the current juice won't work on the new LLY engine.

Fullpull, the LLY is the new "second generation" Duramax engine. (LLY is the engine option code, previous engine is the LB7). Has modified heads to move the fuel injectors out from under the valve cover, variable-vane turbocharger and cooled EGR. No more LB7s are being manufactured and LLYs are starting to hit the dealers.

The eighth digit in the VIN is the engine type:
    1 & 2 are LLY, 3 and 4 are LB7

    2. 1GTHK23214F182221
    3. 1GTHK23174F140725
    4. 1GTHK23164F170847

    eighth digit 1 = LB7

    eighth digit 2 = LLY

Official production for the LLY did not begin until Jan '04. There have been a few claims/sightings of LLY trucks out to the public, but very few.

Edge's new LLY truck is due in any day. Once they have it, the determination will be made as to Juice compatibility.

Myself, if I was to wager, I'd say it will not bear the same plug in connectors, so it will not be compatible at first, and may require major revisions...

The LLY uses what appears to be the same main engine harness connectors - like what the current Edge & VanAaken use.

However, the LLY got a new E60 ECM (contains a third connector port) that adds a significant amount of engine control - i.e. digital cooled EGR & variable turbo nozzle control, in addition to a more complex control of existing/upgraded systems.

I'm currently working in a new LLY tech article that discusses the technology changes, and that will include images and information accumulated from several sources.

I am really looking forward to that article. Any idea when it may be ready?

It's about half finished, but we're planning to include the LLY tech article in the February features update. We had a 2500HD and a C4500 to use for photo props.

Working on a couple short LB7 tech pages as well.

    Interesting,

I heard a rumor that a guy installed a Juice on an LLY, and that it set a couple of codes (expected) but thought maybe it was an LB7 mistaken for an LLY.

This could well put the aftermarket up to speed quite quickly.

As far as plug in boxes working, the LLY underhood harness looks the same as LB7 harness. So that should be one less thing for the aftermarket to have to deal with.
