    Default air raid vs k&n filter?

    any thoughts on differances on k n or air raid intake filter s ??? thanks !

    Me personaly I would not touch ether one of them . Pass to much junk thru them. IMO. JD

    I think either will work fine for highway use. Conversely, I wouldn't use either in on routes with frequent gravel roads, construction site, beaches, etc...

    I was concerned about these aftermarket filters. I was running the AFE pro Guard 7 in my 2003. I put it on and ran it for 5K miles after changing the oil. I then did a oil analysis. My silicon was 5 ppm. So the filter did its job. I live in a new construction area and am always having to drive through dust clouds.
