    Default trans cooling lines

is it possible to disconnect the hard lines from the trans to the radiator. what would need to be done of ot os possible. like do you need hook them to say a remote cooler still? could you just loop it? how would it benefit or hinder cooling of power unit( engine and trans).

DO NOT bypass the trans cooler. That would cause certain death by heat. There is nothing to gain and everything to lose by taking away the trans cooler. Why do you want to do that?

    Unhappy the whole trans

    hello all,

vaceros: I believe the whole trans. I agree with jeepsj that overheating a trans would be the end of the trans. Especially if you pull a trailer I know that heat is a major factor when you are talking about engine trans and the now power steering. It seems GM started to put on ps coolers one friend told me. If you did disconnect it please connect it back up.

    hope this helps,
    Don
