    Default Classic Bodied Front Suspension

Is there anyway to modify the front suspension on the early 80's (mine is an 83) model trucks so that they will turn sharper? I realize there is probably some liability in doing this but the turning radius on this truck is nothing short of horrible. There might even be one from a later model truck that I could swap in? Or aftermarket?

I guess the first thing I'd do is have it aligned to make sure you're getting the full travel. Next, if there are steering stops on the spindles, I'd run them in all the way and then back them out so they just touch at full turn, then back them out 1/2 turn more and lock them. I've always thought they turned relatively tightly for their wheelbases, myself - my truck's a longbed 2WD and has no problem getting through the tightest drive-thru lanes.
