Talking (WANTED) Turbo 400 heavy bell housing cover.

I am needing a lower tranny housing cover for a TH 400 that fits with a 6.2.
This is the heavy aluminum civer for 4X4's that accepts the little short bars that come down from the motor mounts.
I have two for small blocks but need one for the diesel

This might help narrow the search down a bit...

The TH700 and TH400 covers were identical (from what I was looking at) so you may be able to source one of those for the Diesel.

Second, My 4L80E cover off my '96 tahoe and the '95 suburban (back in the day) looked like they would interchange with the older Diesel tranny.

    Maybe this helps.

I'd like to compare the parts.

I think I have both in the shop to look at, but they belong to a tranny I'm going to use, so no spares, or I'd help you out for sure.

Don't source one for a Hummer though. A recent job working on an H1 revealed the use of just the thin stamped-steel cover. I wouldn't own a POS Hummer now though!

I have a cover but have no idea as to what tranny it is off of, it was off the neighbors 1/2t pickup, it was a 6.2 so was probably a 700R4
You can have it if it will work for you.
Any way to identify what it is from?

The diesel application TH400 & 4L80-E bellhousing covers are not interchangeable. I needed to buy a 4L80-E version when I did the conversion in 1999.... Which brings me to my next point.... I have a diesel application TH400 cover collecting dust.... Robyn.. You've got mail!

4L80E cover not compatible with TH400, that's good to know!

Thanks! Just figured it was worth throwin' out there.
