That is not a common symptom of injector problems. More common are exhaust smoke at idle, 'making' oil on the dipstick due to fuel dilution, hard/no start, drastic drop in fuel mileage, etc.

Hey guys... I've been experiencing consistantly POOR fuel mileage. I'm getting about 12mpg and when I'm hauling I dont seem to have to get-up and go I remember having. Even excellerating on the highway I put it to the floor, wait for the turbo to spool up and then the truck starts picking up speed, but not all that quickly. Seems like alot of boost for not alot of GO-GO. I'll check the oil tonight but other than that (fuel filter is changed regularly), any other way of confirming the injectors are on the fritz?
truck is an 02 D/A w/ 111k
Thanks guys,

I have a 2001 diesel 3500 Duramax 4 wheel and all. Mine has lost alot of its get up and go and has become noisy. The Chevy dealer is going to put a test on it Monday. I am hoping they will put new injectors in it. I have 76000 miles on it and would like to have it done before the warranty expires. I hear some guys rave once it is done. Like getting a new truck. I carry a large 11&1/2 foot Lance truck camper. The dealer seems sincere about doing it but we'll just have to see.
