    Default 17" Hummer H2 wheels on a 85?

Has anyone seen or actually put Hummer wheels on their older trucks? I've got an 85 GMC 3/4 ton with the 6.2, and I'd like to know how these fit and how they look. They look great on the newer body trucks, but I can't find any pictures of what they would look like on the older trucks. I think the back spacing may be a bit off, but the extra width of those massive BFG's should help with that. Please let me know what you've seen. Thanks!

Wheel backspacing won't work for the 80's axles...

Do you know what the backspacing is for the two? I'm pretty sure I've seen 80's trucks with the newer stock aluminum wheels that come on the 2500 series GM trucks? Thanks for the feedback.

the backspacing on the H2 rims should be fine, as its only 5.5"

the H1 rims are the ones that wouldn't work since they have a backspacing of ~7"

I saw one mid-80's GM full-size with the H2's. It was at a local GMC dealership........... I'm thinking it was someone's who works there.

Looked great from far away, but I'm sorry that I didn't take a close look.

I have H2 wheels on my 72 k10. Fits fine, look great, were dirt cheap. So many H2 owners swap for the latest bling wheel and tires, there are lots for sale on ebay. I got my wheels and factory tires for $625, tires still had the tits on the tread surface. They are fairly tall though, you may need some lift to fit.

Thanks, any chance you could e-mail me some pics? I'd love to see how your truck looks with them on. Have you lifted your truck at all? Thanks! e-mail giner3@hotmail.com

Yes, my truck has a 4 inch lift but could get by with less because the rims don't space the tires too far out.

    Default H3 rims ??

I am thinking maybe H3 rims would fit on my 89 suburban 4x 6bolt. Anyone know for sure ?
