I need to read cam speed in order to have input to the TCM. Does anyone know if they came with an engine speed sensor? or if somthing after maket is available?

You need a crankshaft sensor. They are stock on most dodge/cummins trucks.
Then cut 2 more grooves in your balancer so It reads 4 pulses per rev instead of 2.
Its a stock bolt on exterior part.
That is what I was hoping I could do. My brother put the GM ess on a scope to try and figuer out how many pulses are needed per 1 RPM of the ess. Thanks
