Default slop in my 4 speed, help please!

I have a 89 chev K2500 with the factory 4 speed manual transmission, has 100,000 original. Have a ton of slop in the shift pattern, if your going down the highway in 4th gear, you can move the shifter about 5 inches each way. Almost impossible to get it into reverse. The is no grinding, or abnormal noise. Is there a bushing or slide rebuild kit? And can it be done from inside the cab without dropping the tranny. Thanks

pull the floor pan and check where the shift goes into the trans, this point is or should be where your slop should be
