Stock suspension can be left intact by using fender cut outs by Bushwacker and running up to 35" tires.
Pros: sits higher w/cushy feel in suspension and gives a higher ratio final drive, however if gears are too high then engine will be off it's rpm peak tq.
Cons: need larger wheels/tires and perhaps lower ratio ring/pinion then there is the higher stance and wider tires which = lots of resistance at speed.
VSSB can be hacked for ratio/tire change.
