Email issues

I try to respond to emails in a timely manner and generally stay on top of things. Over the last few years using Verizon I have seen unexplainable delays in message receipt. Some times this was an hour, other times several hours. This week I had one sent on Monday and received on Friday. There was no rhyme or reason either. I could carry on a rapid fire conversation with one person and see the huge delay in something sent to Elaine or Carol. Needless to say this is unacceptable so we have changed mail servers and hopefully this will be corrected.

I was just having issues with them this morning. No problem on the web, but couldn't send any e-mails out. Finally started working again like nothing had ever happened.

Another complaint is that even though I have their spam filters turned COMPLETELY OFF because I don't want to have to log into webmail just to see what is being "caught" - it is still catching stuff! Been around in circles with them a few times on that and they cannot tell me why other than that "it is in my best interests to have spam filtering turned on"...

I've even had my own sent messages rejected by them as SPAM even when sent "internally"... I needed to edit out a particular web link in order to send.
