Default injector problems after head gasket job

so i did head gaskets on my 01 had the cab off and the whole nine yards. put it back together and the engine has a bad skip. checked the balance rates and they wernt even close to where they were when i took it apart. they are as follows 1. -6 2. -2.6 3. .5 4. -5.1 5.-7 6. 15 7. -6.5 8. -6.2. so i know other injectors will try to compensate for a bad one and i think thats what is going on, they are trying to compensate for #6. all of them fluctuate except #6 it stays at 15. what would cause this? i was very carefull to make sure everything stayed clean. a broken wire? also is # 6 the 3rd one back on the drivers side? any help is appreciated as i am going to work on it tom after work thanx

    Assuming you adjusted the valves...

Very common, yet seldom talked about. Remember all that muddy rusty junk that was in teh injector bowls when you pulled the lines? This crap continues to grind up and deposit in the bowls when you reinstall the lines. It's near impossible to get properly cleaned which is why I replace the lines when doing injectors.

What are you checking balance rates with? I never trust anything but the Tech 2 and maybe EFI Live.

checking with a cornwell scan tool its an expensive one around 3 grand i think. it is very thorough so i have trust in it, besides the truck is making oil so this isnt a valve prob. as well as alot of smoke whitish/blue. smoke smells diesel. so if i peel this back apart and have to buy injectors they aint going to be stock. any suggestions, was thinking 90 hp industrial injection or dynomite diesel. also j/k where do u buy the lines.... dealer? oh ya when u rev it up u can hear that injector ticking like crazy.

I would stay with stock, but if you want aftermarket I have someone else in mind

Aftermarket are no different than stock, just altered nozzle flow. You don't need extra nozzle flow until you go racing.

We stock new replacement lines along with new injectors for the LB7.
