    Default Problem with 2007 6.6 diesel

    Ok the problem is thhat when i start my truck up the engine light is on and when i go to accelerate te truck wont go over 40 kph, it is diving me crazy im after changing the fuel filter and it still happens..can anyone help me?

    Based on the kph you are in Canada?. Had snow storm? Check the air filter to see if it's packed with snow. Otherwise as said above, you need to have the codes read.

    Assuming LMM?

    There have been issues with moisture condensation collecting at the port of the boost sensor and forming ice or a droplet. This messes up the boost signal and could cause what you are experiencing.

    i had the same problem when i was driving my 07 duramax in a blizzard
    the air filter was plugged with snow and ice .cleaned it out it run better but the engine light stayed on . dealer said theres a problem wit the fuel rail . it cant do it no good having the engine drinking that snow and ther is no way to fix the air filter so it stops sucking in snow and ice uless there is a after market one . i have no idea

    If the problem started after running in snow, a preventative measure would be to have the winter front on. Is your truck the New Body Style or the Classic?
