Default hi, newbe question for you converion experts :)

I have a 2000 F350 4x4 that needs some major engine work, I have been kicking the idea around about doing a cumins conversion. I found a 94-95 cumins 12v fairly reasonable.

My question is what are the pros vs cons to doing this conversion. I plan on keeping my truck as long as possible ?

    Pro's:
-Subjective of course but you'll have the best of both worlds. You'll have the best truck with the best diesel engine.
-Good fuel economy assuming it's set up correctly
-Lots of power stock and easily modifiable to make crazy amounts of power
-Engine fits in Fords well as if it was meant to be there
-Super relable and long life span
    -Easy to work on

    Con's:
-Will eat automatic transmissions. Go with a manual if you want reliability.
    -Heavy (around 1100 lbs)
-Noisy (94 and up engines with P pumps are a lot more noisy than the 88-93 P-pump models)
-Hard on the front wheel bearings due to weight
