    Default New from Ohio

    I am hoping to get a lot of help from the members of this site. I have spent the last 5 years rebuilding a 72 Grumman motorhome (see attached). It has an IH chassis and 392 engine that I what to upgrade. I purchased an 84 Chevy 3+3 dually with a 95 6.5 NA diesel engine and transmission. At least that is what the guy said it is. I am in the process of pulling the engine and transmission. My first question is, how do I verify which engine it is that I have?

    the casting # will be on the back of the block just below the head. read the stamps on both sides and post up.
