The article is nearly a year old - with no further sign of it coming true in the meantime - but I agree with you on the teasing part.

My 6.5 suits me well. A combination of power and mileage that suits my uses. It seems like even the new 1/2-ton trucks pull more than the 1-tons of years past. I really don't need a monster truck like that. A good balance of economy and power would have me looking at trading in my '93.
