EGR Code
EGR valve code sets and then goes off. I have an issue with the egr valve code on my 2004 Duramax that has 291000 miles on it. The truck runs great and my service shop says run it till you have a problem then we can repair it. Anyone with any experience in this area?

There are really three paths as I can see:
1) continue to drive as is. Should not hurt anything so long as no emissions checks
2) spend too much money fixing something that is useless in my opinion
3) do away with function and diagnostics via tuning. No more SES nag etc.
