    When it gets cold I highly recommend the 85-93 glow controller (if not already equipped) along with the resistor mod outlined by MP in earlier Feature articles. Really helped my 6.2 start cold. Of course this was before the good plugs were available so may not be necessary now.

    My John's truck is an '86 and does have the factory controller. A momentary switch is also installed in the cab to activate the GP solenoid longer if necessary in the colder temps. Looks like it is doing fine so far.
