I have searched this forum for any info on the Wicked Wheel 2, but couldn't find anything. I have a GM4 turbo and was wondering if anybody has any info or opinions on these. Thanks.

It looks like Thoroughbred Diesel (a supporting vendor) carries them. Perhaps tbreddiesel will chime in - or you could PM him.

I looked into them a few years ago. I asked if they had any dyno data to back up their claims. I didn't get a response so I didn't try one.

Thanks for the replies. The jury is still out on the Wicked Wheel 2 as far as the replies I received on this thread. I am thinking this item might be in the same category as "marine" injectors, more hype than substance. Thanks again!

I'm running one on a gm4, it does spool quicker and has a couple lbs more boost.... I had my turbo rebuilt and the wheel was part of that..

I sent it to John, we work together on a few projects and are friends. I will let him know tonight about this thread and he can PM you the details.
Mine was completely 100% rebuilt and balanced and I trusted the work compared to someone I don't know their quality of work.

Good questions.
The aftermarket offerings of these wheels including the WWII work but have a problem with different versions of these turbos.
There are many variants of these turbos being side mount GM1, GM3, GM4, GM5, GM8 then the GM6 and GM7 center mount turbos.
The WWII and some other billet wheels we've tested have a problem being the compressor wheel sticks out of the shroud of the inlet of the compressor housing. Blades too tall, that can't be a good thing for performance at all.
Only the GM1 and early GM4 turbos work with the wheels because they have the meat in the compressor cover to work with them.
UD has another billet wheel offering that does fit in all covers and adds performance with a modern blade pitch and design over the stock wheel. It also has a safe-sized hub that other performance and WWII wheels do not. Most wheel failures are due to insufficient strength on the hub.
I'd contact Unique Diesel on their website via the contact form and get the ball rolling.
