The superchargers I recall seeing were one of a kind installations. Do not know af any "kits". Paxton, and a few other make the newer style superchargers (vs the old 6-71 blowers). They are typically belt driven off the front of the engine. Fabrication of brackets, and air tubing is the major work involved. Gives better low end power that the turbos, but takes engine power to operate. Less efficient than a turbo, but in an H1 one typically is not to worried about efficiency. Superchargers cost even more than a turbocharger, so most of us 6.2/6.5 truck owners consider the turbo a better deal because of lower price, kit availability and efficiency.
