Default 2000 C/K 3500 6.5L No over drive at all....

    Good moring all,
New to the site.... New to me 2000 C/K 3500 with 125k miles on it that does not go in to over drive at all.
I have searched the site and found simular problems. just wanted to poll the experts before I start throwing bags of cash at the problem.
Symptoms : At 55-65 mph, rpm 2100-2300. Checked fluid, good level, nice red color. Tried to down shift to 3rd, then back to OD, it down shifts fine. Still no OD. Around town driving it shifts nice and smooth.
    Thanks in advance

If it downshifts into 3rd, what is it downshifting from?

OD and locked torque converter are sometimes difficult to distinguish between. Are you sure it is OD and not the TCC that you're not getting?
