We took delivery of a new Raptor 32ft toy hauler from Keystone this week. The dealer delivered. We hooked it to a 2500HD Chev and the back went down on the truck and the front went up. The truck has a custom spring package and has been used for hauling 10-12 lb goose neck trailers. We were a bit surprised so out came the scales and the pin came in at 3500+ lbs! A call to the dealer and to our surprise it was designed to have a heavy "dry" pin weight. This allows for the heavy "toy" weights that would be carried in the rear bay behind the trailer wheels. So we went back and ran two 6 wheel argo's into the bay and sure enough the pin eased to 2450 lbs. Truck hooked up and nice and level. Just goes to show how much loading makes a difference even in a fifth wheel.
