I purchased a set of mechanical gauges, good ones, to put in the motor home but could use some help hookin em up. The existing gauges are rather small and hard to read and are not detailed enough.
    Amp. gauge???
    Volt gauge???
    EGT gauge???
    Boost gauge coming soon!!

Yes, I can read but electrical instructions are rather unclear to me and had hopes someone here can explain them to me. Look at it as "Gauge Hookup for Dummies"!
Also, while we're at it, where would I run the oil pressure gauge line to? I was told there is a fitting in the block just above the oil filter. ??

    I have a 1995 6.5 TD P-30 in a Safari Trek Motor Home.

    Thumbs up

    Howdy
I would call the manufacture of the gauges as I found that many are different. Most of the time they have a tech line that is fairly helpfull.
The EGT seems like everyone thinks they should be as close to the turbo as possible on the down pipe. Thats for the clamp in probe. When you hook up the oil pressure make sure you don't disconnect any thing as some of the sending units are for the Computer and will give you a SES.
    Hope I helped....
