A subscription to Alldata.com for your ride would REALLY be a benefit to you for not that much cash.

I've nothing to gain by you subscribing, but you sure do. I can testify to it being a great benefit to me and my D-Max, 2 diesel benz's, Jeep, and corolla.

The modern engines send the ECT signal to the ECM which in turn drives the dash gauge.

    Default Update CTS

I checked the ECM CTS reading indicates 185, dash indicates 210. If I understand you correctly there is no sender to just drive the dash gauge? There are two senders just to the left of the thermostat housing/ pass. Side.

    Default Update CTS? Sensor

I pulled the front sensor wire. No ECT or dash reading of gauge. It gave me codes of: P0118 & P0401
I was going to pu the rear wire but truck was to hot to get my hand in there...
Please describe the function of the front / rear sensor,
    Thank you
Any other way to get dash gauge to reference ECM temp without adjusting gauge needle?
I was hoping to replace a sensor ......
