Thread: Frame Dimensions or drawings?

    Default Frame Dimensions or drawings?

I've got a 1997 Chevy C2500 extended cab, long box.

I'm looking for drawings of the frame with dimensions. AutoCAD *.dwg files would be great, but I'll take anything I can get my grubby little paws on.

    Thanks,
    Gooser

My Toyota factory service manual has a frame diagram in the back. Haven't seen anything similar in my GM manuals. I don't know if a frame shop would have something you could start with?

Currious about what you need such a detailed set of drawings for???

Any drawings of this nature are going to likely be the property of GM and not readily accessable by just anyone.

You may be able to get what you need by visiting a bone yard and doing the measurements on a frame and making your own sketches and then doing a drawing

I have never seen any real comprehensive drawings of this stuff available anywhere.
