    Default Transmission question

Im looking at an auction with some new hummer transmissions off a goverment website. they are a 4L80E trans. Would they be the same as a normal trans of that name or would the electronics be different since the trucks are 24v ?

    Thanks

I’m curious about this too. I’m seeing some that have casting numbers of B2, B6, BG, and such while others just have the 4L80 casting. All have a P/N casting of 24208421.

I found one reference that said the electronics for the different models may be different?
