    Default 1992 6.5 T/D Fuel lines

My Buddy has a 1992 6.5 T/D. He has a break on one of the fuel lines. He just told me that the later model fuel lines are too big on the pump and injector sides, he tried using 1998 fuel lines.. Any suggestions on compatable year models?

    Thanks

His 1992 has a mechanical DB2 injection pump. He needs to look for fuel lines for 1992 to 1993 model years to be an exact replacement. In 1994, the DB2 was replaced with the electronic DS4 in most applications, which does, in fact, use different injection lines. However, the DB2 was continued to be used on vans and some other applications, so finding a donor engine with 6.5L injectors and the DB2 mechanical pump is what he wants to look for.

He might be also able to use older fuel injection lines, providing that the 6.2L engine they come off use short body injectors like the 6.5L does.

He really needs #6 line to get up and running. Anyone that has one, or a set, please let me know. Thanks

I doubt anyone is going to break a set for one line...

They can be found as single's on ebay also...

I would be willing to swap a 1998 set for the 1992 set
