Default 2006 LBZ in Limp Mode?

My 2006 LBZ just went into limp mode! My Helm's manuals haven't arrived, and the dealer is being uncooperative regarding scheduling. The truck was running fine this morning. the second start of the day the CEL light came on and now the truck is holding the RPM up and shifting funny any suggestions as to where to start looking would be greatly appreciated.

I do realize that there is not much to go on. So thanks

The truck is bone stock, no mods whatsoever and only has 75000km on it.

Mine did this when my #7 injector pigtail shorted and failed. Free dealer fix. Might check your injector connections. Wiggle them and see if that helps. I think you will need to disco the batteries after you play with the pigtails.

Did the temperature just drop? Change the fuel filter!

I got in to the dealer this morning they said tey found a U0100 P0700 code set cleared codes and said it was my strating sequence that has caused the codes and the limp mode. It sounds a bit foolish to me anyways the truck runs fine now. I am looking at EFI Live but is their anything else out there that will allow you to down load codes and clear codes?
