    Default Defroster Issue

My windshield defroster stopped working. When I push the button it stays on the dash vents. The blower motor works but door is not moving to switch vents. Is their a common problem to look for? I read on another forum that there is a HVAC fuse in the under hood fuse box to pull and wait 30 sec, the replace the fuse, turn the key to on position and wait for the doors to re-calibrate. Thanks in advance

I don't know about a fuse, but a Tech II scan tool can interact with the HVAC controller to some degree. Perhaps a visit to the dealer can shed some light. I'd ask the service manager if the Tech II can be used to identify the reluctant component. Let us know. Jim

After reading a bunch of forums I decided that I was going to replace the actuator under the driver side dash and it worked. Thanks for the response.
