    I just installed the new tan switch on my 01, all of the lights are coming on in the dash, but I only have third and reverse. What the .....?

    TUFF,

    Was the Transmission in "Neutral" when you actually put the NSBU on? If not you installed it incorrectly.. If you look at the side of the trans w/out the NSBU on you will see that the Selector shaft has a Neutral position imprinted into the side of the Main Trans case Clue: It's Just above the selector shaft..

    The trans HAS to be in NEUTRAL to install the NSBU..

    You left the Metal strap on until both bolts were tight?

    You double checked to be sure it was plugged in correctly?
