    Default Starting Issues

I have a 2005 Silverado 3500 Duramax with starting issues. When starting you turn the switch nothing happens, disconnect the batteries for 45 minutes to an hour, reconnect the batteries and it will start like a brand new truck. After the truck sits overnight, you're back to square one, no start! Whats wrong?

    Welcome to the board!

    Lots of possibilities...

    Ignition switch
    BCM (Body Control Module)
    ECM
    Relays

Gotta eliminate one at a time, beginning with the easiest/least costly. In addition, a Tech II scan tool can be used to evaluate several possibilities.
