I'm wanting to swap my 305 and 4L60E out of my 96 k1500 for a 6.5 turbo diesel and a 4L80E. I know the fuel rail, breaks, and wiring system are different but I'd like to know the main points in the conversion. The truck is 4X4 and lifted but will probably lower the truck to help the ease of the swap. If anyone expirenced in these could help me with the factors of it that would be great and much appreciated. A relative time frame for someone who works 6-4:30 on weekdays would be nice too.
