Default Banks TE06H-24 Turbo, Banks 6.2L upgrade turbo

This is the TE06H-24V Turbo that Banks uses on their 7.3L IDI Sidewinder kit that's the "wastegated" turbo that the Ford guys really seek out. This turbo also wound up on some of the 6.2 and 6.5's. This turbo has been used on 6.2's equipped with the Banks turbo kit. This turbo supplies more boost and more CFM airflow than the T04B turbo that is supplied with the kit. This turbo is also the turbo used on Banks' H1 Hummer 6.5 N/A engine kit (no longer available), this turbo is a good match for a 6.2/6.5. Not suitable for a 6.5TD truck due to mounting issues (exhaust outlet), more of an upgrade for 6.2 Banks users.

I purchased this turbo for my 1986 6.2 with a Banks turbo on it, but I'll never get around to doing that, plus i have the appropriate A/R T04B housing for it now.

The only thing missing off this turbo is the center section clamp, this will need to be purchased either from Banks or off a similar MHI turbo (Mitsubishi Heavy Industries). Many turbo shops should be able to fix that up. This turbo did have the clamp, I robbed it to sell my Banks H1 Turbo 6.5 Setup because I was trying to make the setup complete.

The condition of this turbo is A+, and has a brand spanking new wastegate actuator (because the pecker wood I got the turbo from back in the day "lost" it) and it was pricey.

Snag it, they're not easy to find!

    $450 plus the ride.

No other parts available, this "was" the big upgrade for the T04 included in the Banks kits. Neat little turbo, I'm going to get around to playing with it seeing no one else wants to...

Sorry to drag up a really old thread. I have a t04b on my ats setup, looking for this te06h turbo you had for sale three years ago. I noticed you never said "it's sold" and if you're anything like me you hang on to parts that might have a use someday. Any chance it's still around and for sale?

I would've sent you a PM, but couldn't figure out how

Both ATS Turbo setups for the 6.2 utilize a T4 turbine housing flange. The TE06H turbo is a T3 Turbo. Not that you couldn't make it work, it would require a T4 to T3 adapter flange. The Dodge Cummins guys use these adapters all the time to go the other way (T3 to T4).

    It's still for sale though.

I wanted to be upfront about this turbo's price now. Three years later this thing isn't readily available any more. I have intentions to use this for an upcoming dyno project.

Consider $800 the current price for the turbo. I've sourced some replacement parts for it that were missing at the time of original sale.
