With alot of members having a tuner that can read codes, I thought it would be nice to have a guide to cross these codes to see what they mean. I am posting the more popular ones relating to engine and trans. Keep in mind there are hundreds more codes lot listed.

FYI the code reader in the review linked below will display the actual description making life much easier. There are less expensive readers out there, but most do not include the description which is why I chose this model:

P0380 indicates a problem with the glow plug system. P0621 - GEN Lamp 'L' Control Circuit, which may indicate a problem reading the alternator control circuit.

Both of these codes indicate an electrical problem. Bad alternator, bad batteries, loose connections or bad grounds could be a problem.

    Angry P10D1 code

My '17 DMax (L5P) is showing a P10D1 code. Not finding much on it, other than it might be related to the DEF system. (The little I found about it also mentioned a P20EE code, but I'm not getting that one).

Anyone have any ideas? I just dumped a jug of Blue DEF into it this past weekend. I've got less than 300 miles on it since and the engine constantly goes into the regen mode. I figure I've sucked up nearly 1/8 of a tank of fuel due to this (according to my fuel gauge). NO check engine indicator has come on- I'm seeing it listed using my Edge monitor.

While I like to diddle with my own stuff, I'd have that rig in the dealer shop right now while it's still on them. But that's just me.
