    Default Detroit 8v71 conversion

Guys I'm new to this forum and need some advice. I just removed a 8v71 from a stationary air compressor that runs awsome with only 849 hours on it. I know this is a Chevy site, but I am planning on installing the engine in a 69' F600 dump truck. The truck has a Clark 280v 5 speed in it now with a low power 361 gas motor in it. I believe I heard that there was a 453 put behind this trans, but does anyone know if a 71 series bellhousing was offered? Do I need to do something with the fuel system since it was in a stationary unit? Thank you guys in advance

Should be an SAE size round bellhousing in the Detroit. Sorry I can't be of more help.
