Had my cousin follow me and huge cloud of blue smoke out the exhaust then it stops then it starts. Seems random

Bad injectors would be a place to start.

Worn out squirts will cause myriad issues.

Does the engine misfire (run rough) ????

If the thing runs reasonably smooth then I would yank the injectors and have them checked by a good injector shop.

Check pop pressure and spray pattern.

Low pop pressure and a pee stream instead of a nice cone of mist will cause a smokey mess out the tail pipe.

Any check engine light (SES) ????

If the light is on/has been on pull the codes.

Good luck and let us know what you find.
