    Anyone using this filter? Some good write ups on it, supposed to be 4 microns, is this absolute or nominal? Any input would be appreciated. Thank you

    The Racor along with the Baldwin are in that 4 micron absolute category. It is important to remember that absolute is not absolute and that some particles much larger than 4 microns will still pass. I stil prefer a secondary plus I add a Filtermag to get as much ferrous junk before it even hits the media.

    That said, these filters have come a long way...
