    Default Broken down...

Truck was running perfectly through Arizona and 15 minutes after fueling up, engine quickly loses power and dies. Replace the filter and bleed it, engine starts and runs for 30 seconds before stalling again. Return line one top of IP is clear and after purging air from the filter, air bubbles begin to develop as the engine sputters. Opening the filter air bleed shows air bubbling out. No smoke or any other issues, just power loss and stall. IP and injectors were replaced with good quality ones last year.

It's at the dealer now as I'm on the road with my wife who's 6 months pregnant. I'm guessing a line back towards the tank or the lift pump. Tank was on the short list for replacement when I got back from this trip.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks and happiness 4th!

Bad fuel? Gasoline? Just seems questionable when that’s the only recent change.

I checked the fuel and it's for sure diesel. Not sure if it's bad though. All the air makes me wonder.

Well, that was after replacing the filter - at that point something else could have been jarred loose.

Looks like a split fuel line back up near the tank. Wasn't leaking but under vacuum, it pulled air. Time for new lines and a tank.

Where are you in Phoenix? I'm in Queen Creek which is southeast of Phoenix proper if you need help.
