NSBU replacement connectors needed...
2001 K2500HD, Silverado, NSBU switch:
Switch replaced (again). Still generating SEZ indicator; tranny occasionally goes into Limp Mode. Original (black) switch was replaced by the local Chevy dealer a couple of years back and new pig tail connectors were spliced into the harness. I've replaced the NSBU again and I still experience Limp Mode on occasion. Local Allison dealer feels there may be corrosion in the butt splices- looking to replace the pig tail harness on both connectors. Local Chevy dealer wants $51 for the 4 pin connector and $129 for the 7 pin connector (both with wire tails). Local Allison dealer has a "service kit" for each, but each connector itself comes in individual pieces without wire! "Some assembly required" .....
Anyone know of another source of these 2 connectors, "with wire", so I can splice in new connections?
(BTW: I haven't pulled the DTC codes yet, so I'm banking on a wiring issue rather than something in the tranny or the TCM. For what it's worth....) Thanks folks.
