Default Cognito Pitman Idler Support Kit for 93-98 6&8 lug Vehicles

Cognito offers this support kit for the pitman and idler arms: LINK

I was wondering if anyone was running it and what input they might have on it.

I understand the concept of putting the relay rod connections in double shear to firm things up and eliminate the fore/aft movement. I’ve had (what I consider to be) excessive wear on the steering components in the time I’ve had the K2500. Running 285-75-R16s certainly doesn’t help that. But now with the Yukon in the stable as well as the K2500, I want to see what I can do about fixing the situation.

So, is it worth going to the Cognito setup? Are there other options? Or any other advice?

We use these all the time on the later model trucks. Less on the older trucks, but that's not due to function, it's more a matter of obscurity. We stock the early ones as well and they do work well.

I did see that you sold them. You’re definitely my go-to guy for the K2500 - and now the Yukon!
