1998 454/nv4500 swap to 6BT Need sources please.

Hi everyone new to the forums, i tryed searching but couldnt find all the info i need. Heres what i got.


Current truck:
1998 chevy 2500 4x4
vortec 454
nv4500
6 inch suspension lift.
pretty much a stock truck besides the lift.

Donor truck:
1997 dodge diesel dually.
Automatic truck.
2wd.
150,00 miles.


I love my truck but the fuel economy is terrible, i have always wanted to do a diesel swap and have looked into a duramax swap but the cost in ridiculous. Just happened to find a screamin deal on a wrecked 97 cummins dodge. 1500$ for it.

So im just curious if anyone has any links for a total write up with pictures and a detailed description. If you guys have links or tips they would be greatly appreciated. My main concern is wiring and keeping the AC. Truck is my everyday work truck so it has to be done right. \

I have heard someone makes motormounts and such but havent been able to find out who does.
