    Default GEAR VENDOR 4 sale

    Howdy
I am going to sell my Gear Vendor auxiliary overdrive. Thought I would try to give the members first shot at it as these are hard to find used and EXPENSIVE new. Here is the scoop:

    - Gear Vendor HD unit with deep sump. Overhauled at the factory about 15,000 miles ago. I have paper work.

    - NEW wiring, switch kit and installation kit plus some of the old wiring.

    - The required VSSB for a truck with 4:10 gears

    - Cut and balanced short drive shaft for Crew cab truck

    - Synthetic oil for at least 4 oil changes.

-This unit was in a 1999 Chevy crew cab 1ton with 4:10 gears. That is what the wiring and install kit is for. You can order whatever kit you want from Gearvendor and change it over.

I have had this unit since it was new and put about 120,000 miles on it. I am a maintenance nut and changed the oil in it about every 15K miles.

The only reason I had it rebuilt was that the engine was out of my truck and I figured it was a good thing to do. Gear Vendors typically outlive whatever application they are in. I am only selling because my 1ton is no longer my primary transportation.
VERY solid overdrive. They are rated heavier than the transmissions they are hooked up to.
Look them up online for specs.

$2200.00 for everything. I can ship or if you are close to northern Minnesota maybe we can work out delivery.

Hope to pass this on to someone that can make good use of it.

Sorry, I'm not interested, but you'll need to specify what transmission. I'm assuming you had this behind a 4L80E Automatic. The adapters for different transmissions are dramatically different.

    Howdy
The application is for a 1995-1999 chevy 4x4 with an 4L80E.
I will probably be listing it on Ebay in another week.
If anyone here is interested....make me an offer. There are a few on ebay if you want to price shop.
