No power for first 1/2 mile

Fired up my 2002 D/A this morning. It just did not want to move. Stepped on the go pedal and it felt like I was starting out in 4th gear the way it moved. After about 1/2 mile it began to respond the way it should. Check engine light never came on. Truck had been sitting for about a week and temp was around 45 degrees.

Any insights are appreciated. :D

Your problem could possibly be caused by fluid draining back form the torque converter during the week that it was sitting. There has been discussion on this in the past. Here is one thread I found on the subject.
