All these vehicles pulled in the stock class 5800-7000 lb at Sublimity Harvest Festival Truck and tractor pull, on Saturday. Only D/Max there was my brothers 2500 HD 4x4 x-cab, running with the JUICE box. My 2500 HD 4x4 is running the 6.0 gasser, with 4L80E auto, and 4.10's. A few minor mods have been done to my 6.0 also smile.gif D/Max weighed in at exactly 7000 lb's, (with added weight). Mine weighed in at 6970 (adding 700 lbs). 3 or 4 Powerstrokes pulling in that class also. Several of the Powerstrokes had Banks kits on them, with huge exhaust. No Cummins pulled in that weight, stock class. There was also a 2500 HD 4x4 with the 8.1 that pulled. The pulling surface was pretty firm. The 8.1 went first, and only pulled either 136 or 163 feet, before hopping and spinning. A couple of the Powerstrokes pulled, and none of them got past the 200 foot mark, I think the best pull by the Powerstrokes was a 208 footer. My brother pulled in 4Lo, in 3rd gear, and when it started to power out, pulled down to 2nd gear. He pulled 233 feet before spinning and hopping. I pulled afterwards, in 4Lo, in 1st gear (at 6000 rpms, it'll do 20+ in 1st gear low range). I ended up pulling 240.6 feet, powering out against the converter, with no hopping or spinning. A dodge V10 ended up pulling 236 feet before powering out. Both my brothers D/max and my 6.0, we ran 55 psi rear tires, 50 psi front tires. I was using BFG AT KO 285/75/16's, which I was very impressed by how they did. My brother was using the same size tires, not sure which brand, I think Les Schwabs though. He had his airbags set at 30 psi, I don't have any airbags. Both of us were pulling at 22 inch hitch height. We have both pulls on his camcorder, so if I can figure out how to post them here, I will.
