Just received Version 4.2 last night to replace an earlier version I was having problems with.
Pluged it in, ran around the block and everything seemed OK. Started the truck up in the morning pushed on the gas and it wouldn't go past 35mph. I drove two blocks through traffic so I could get to the side. Unplugged the unit and everything was fine. ???????

What year is your truck?

Most likely a 2001 truck and the box is not "turning on"??? I've also had a couple of isolated instances where the programming did not "take" in the module and needed to be reloaded.

Tried a 4.2c on a customers truck (2001) without any noticle gain in power. Tried a 4,3c and it works fine. Tried the 4.2c on my 2002 Ca. emissions and truck will not start. Set a check engine light. (PO335) which is crankshaft position sensor circuit a) 4.3c also worked good on my 2002.
Talked to Edge and sending this in to be updated next week.
One thing about it, they have excellent customer support.
So now I have to be detoxed off the "juice" for a few days. Am working on getting a programmer, getting tried of sending these back and forth.
Going to open a shop fulltime before long and will be talking to M.P. about advertising here.

Thought I'd give an update on the 4.3 on the 2001.
Got a phone call, the customer is on a trip (towing) to Oregon and it set a code. Won't be able to find out what it is until next weekend when they get back. Had this happen to my old box once when pulling. Cleared the code and it never came back.
Will be calling Edge Monday. Terry

Any more feedback on the 4.3 version from anyone? I am ready to ship out my 3.61 to get the "old" response back that seems to have vanished after I hear the good word.....

I just bought ver. 4.1 from JK. After I put it on, I had problems with it stalling and going into limp mode. I also couldn't feel any appreciable gain in power even though it indicated it was in level 4. I returned it to be re-flashed to 4.2. HOLY SMOKE-NOW WE'RE COOKIN'

I just got my box back. Version 4.3 feels like old times. The snappy throttle response is back and I have only tried level 2 thus far.
