Okay;
I've got the Juice 4.61 installed on my Dmax 6.6 and usually ride around in level 4 (can you blame me?). I've got about 6000 miles with the Juice and I absolutely love it. Except for 2 very infrequent occasions. I'd just be cruising along not driving it very hard when all of a sudden for about 2-3 seconds the engine will sound as if it's about to explode (I mean like really knocking very loudly and rev up a little bit) then go back to normal as if nothing happened. It literally just lasts for a second or two.

Has anyone had a similar experience with their Juice chip? Should I be worried? What's the deal. Hope someone out there can enlighten me.

Rey,

Was it raining out when this happened? You might do a search on juice when raining. Hope this helps. I've never experienced it myself.

Smittybilt,

Contact Bill - aka - thechevyhdman. He knows a lot about this problem and has been working with EDGE on a solution.

I have had this, along with several other acting up modes happen when in light rain. The violent acting up, as you describe, was more prevalent with earlier releases for me. My 4.61 tends to act like the timing is too far advanced at highway speeds, sometimes leading to the engine dieing.

Good luck, as I have not heard of that particular mode occurring without rain. That will get frustrating fast.

I feel Edge is making progress, from my communications with them.
