noisey belt

Had that cold engine belt noise this winter. It went away and I started to smell antifreeze. Dealer preasure tested system and found leaking waterpump. R&R the water pump and all is fixed at 18,000 mi. Service manager said mine was about the fifth one he did this season. Is this something to watch, I think so.

Oongawah- No the dealer said nothing about the mods, they are pretty good about these things. It is a large truck only dealership and I have found that kind of a dealership is much more forgiving.

would that dealer happen to be either Bright Bay GMC or Ramp Chevy???? Just curious being a fellow Long Islander which dealer you're talking about.
